Joni's Review ~ Euphoria ~ Erin Noelle

After a series of catastrophic misunderstandings and impulsively poor decision-making, Scarlett MacGregor finds herself once again torn between two loves, different as they may be. Lacking proper closure with their relationship, and accompanied by the overwhelming guilt for her role in his devastating downfall, Scarlett resolves to help Mason recover and reclaim his life as a budding rock star. However, now that he has finally claimed her as his, Ash Walker is bound and determined to keep her by his side, and he will go to any lengths necessary to do just that.

Mason Templeton has hit rock bottom. He’s in love with a girl whose heart and soul belong to another and he’s partied his way off of an international music tour that was supposed to be his big break. Returning home for rehab, sounds like the worst possible way to start a new year, but when an unexpected friendship emerges, he begins to realize that maybe everything does happen for a reason.

Euphoria is the third and final installment of Scarlett, Ash, and Mason’s self-discovering journeys to understanding the meaning of true love ~ the kind that begs for complete surrender.

I’ve been looking forward to this book since the moment I finished Ambrosia. Then it came out and people ruined it for me by posting spoilers and I told Erin I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t read it. Well then I decided I HAD to know. So, I put on my big girl panties, once I found them, may have taken something for my nerves ;), and buckled down to read. Of course, Erin promised to hold my hand.

I have to say I am so very glad I read this book!!!!

I was reminded early on why I had fallen in love with Mason in Meta and why I sat on that damn fence for so long before deciding that I was team Ash. I always knew Ash was Scarlett’s soul mate. I never felt like she loved Mason the way that he loved her and deserved to be loved in return.

Now that being said after reading Ambrosia I really didn’t think Mason could come back from the mistakes and choices he made. I was WRONG! Yes, I admit it. He did come back and I was so proud of him. I shed tears for this man and the way he turns his life around.

I felt like Scarlett had finally got the bigger picture. She grows up so much in this book and not just because of the circumstances of what happens, but because of the bond and understandings that her and Mason came too, with the help of Heather. Heather was a God send in Euphoria.

Even though I knew what was coming and I braced myself for it my heart still shattered when I got there. Erin was there to hug me tightly. Hey, don’t judge a virtual hug works quite well.

I don’t want to give any spoilers so I will tell you this… The last chapter brings it together so well. The acceptance that was in such a small gesture had me smiling and loving him so much more. It all tied together beautifully and I am so very glad I read it and yes, I LOVED IT!!!
