I couldnt get my hands on this one fast enough. M.M. Koenig had me hanging on the edge of my seat with book one and as soon as I saw this one on my kindle I had to read it. Didnt matter what I was reading before I stopped everything and sat down and read this one in one sitting.
I have to say she did it again. I absolutely love Ethan and Mia. Everything that has happened to them have pulled them together, when in all reality should have pushed them apart. In book one Mia was trying to make her life better only to meet Ethan and realizing he was what she needed. Only to realize it was to late, she was in to deep with not only the love of her life but also a ruthless man. Book two continues with their story of trying to get out and stay together.
Both of them wanting whats best for the other and both still hiding secrets.
For Mia, everything that keeps happening is only making things worse, she’s constantly blaming herself for everything and knows she will do anything she can to protect those she loves. Ethan is the same, only his goal was different. After finding out Mia’s true intentions he still loves her and will do anything to protect her.
This one had me on the edge of my seat again, waiting and reading every line just to see what happens next. Let me tell you, I was NOT expecting any of it. Boy was I surprised and in a good way.
M.M. Koenig did an amazing job keeping me guessing, I was laughing, I was screaming at my kindle and I had tears… She hit every emotion with this one.
Cant wait for the conclusion to Ethan and Mia’s story.
